Thanks for taking your time to report this issue.

I get the same error message when attempting to install plowshare-modules on Ubuntu Xenial. I did some research and found a corresponding Debian bug, so I have attached a bug watch. Looks like it is fixed in a newer version, but that it hasn't landed in Debian yet.
