Bug Description

Using my Nokia phone (N8-0 with Symbian Anna in Ovi Suite mode) as modem is possible when the phone is fresh restarted. When I disconnect the USB cable and try to reconnect some kind of weird Wired Connection shows up, connecting to mobile broadband is not possible anymore.

used system is Kubuntu 11.10 beta2

Recognized same problem also on other systems, so maybe its an symbian bug.

It worked OK with my Nokia C2-01, but similar problem with disconnect - the connection is de-recognised. You have to unplug and restart the phone/modem without preconfiguring how it is to be read - connect automatically and don't bother with fancy stuff re Ovi suite.
