Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-manager-kde
On the kubuntu-destktop there is plasma-
but if you want install network-manager-kde the system removes plasma-
so after that you can get the unmanaged icon, even if you have connected your cable and you are browsing in internet so....
the fix it's always the same you can find on bugs.kde and it's this
sudo sed -i "s/managed=
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04
Package: network-manager-kde 1:0.9~svngit201
Uname: Linux 2.6.39-
Architecture: i386
Date: Sat Apr 16 06:55:10 2011
ProcEnviron:
LANGUAGE=
LANG=it_IT.UTF-8
SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: plasma-
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
Why do you want to use network-manager-kde instead of the plasma widget?
It's unmaintained upstream so I'm wondering if we should just remove it.
