Bug Description

Binary package hint: plasma-widget-menubar

Instead of just saying "Menu", the widget should use the name of the current application like the appcontrol widget does.

Changed in plasma-widget-menubar (Ubuntu):
importance: Undecided → Wishlist

The problem here is that we can either:
1. Use the window title, but this can lead to really long buttons,
2. Ask for the application name, but this requires a change in the DBus protocol: right now we do not pass any application name or desktop file.

As far as I remember there are some discussions going on to get #2 working, but nothing set in stone yet.
