Bug Description

Binary package hint: plasma-widget-menubar

If the appmenu widget has no items available, it's presence on the panel is confusing, it should autohide itself in these cases.

Changed in plasma-widget-menubar (Ubuntu):

The goal here is to show useful actions there instead of hiding it. I discussed this with Plasma developers and they suggested showing the panel or desktop menu. What do you think?

The menu does offer a close button for chromium, for the record.
