Bug Description
After upgrading to Plasma 5.4.2, the right mouse button doesn't work anymore on the desktop (e.g., to add a panel) or on panels (e.g. to remove a panel). I'm running a mix of 15.04 and 15.10.
Expected behaviour: a pop-up menu with various options
Actual behaviour: nothing happens.

I just installed kubuntu 14.10 (the newer one doesn't work at ALL for me, not even as 'try out' from CD)
and ran into the same thing at some point. That is: the mouse can be moved and interact with open
terminals and the keyboard works. Also auto hiding panels appear when the mouse touches their edge.
But the panels do not react at all anymore on left or right clicks, nor does the desktop react to a right click.
After a few minutes and a lot of clicks I got a pop-up saying something like "kdeinit: could not launch /usr/bin/ google- chrome- stable" . I'm totally fine with that, that file doesn't exist, but really - why does it need 5 minutes of desktop freezing to realize that file doesn't exist?!
