Bug Description

OS
---
Description: Ubuntu Vivid Vervet (development branch)
Release: 15.04

Package
---------
plasma-desktop:
Installed: 4:5.2.0-0ubuntu1

Expected: Respect user-set theme and fonts.

Happened: Self-decided irrational choices over reboot (and not changing).

I am using Kubuntu 15.04 with Intel 3rd gen onboard graphics and AMD 7300. Suddenly my buttons theme looks like oxygen in some apps (System settings - Oxygen, Rekonq - Breeze), and doesn't respond to change, breeze window decoration remains, albeit with thicker top border, most kickoff menu icons are black squares in the applications menu, shutdown and reboot options are missing from the menu, the panel has decided a font of its own size and type and setting a new font doesn't alter its type, only the general size. The name of the apps in KickOff under the category (e.g. File Manager_Dolphin) is also set in relatively huge font.

Reinstalled the OS, from daily iso, all fine. Rebooted, fine. Run upgrade, rebooted, same behavior.

Any relevant logs which I can provide?
