Bug Description
Binary package hint: pkg-config
pkg-config knows that when libdir==/usr/lib, it doesn't need to output a -L line. it should be updated to do the same for the multiarch library dirs, which also don't need to be passed to the compiler and could confuse various build systems, leading to spurious rpath.
