Bug Description
I use Behringer X32 Producer and Steinberg UR 22 mk II as my USB audio interfaces. I didn't have any problems on Ubuntu 22.04, but when I upgraded to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, my interfaces started to disappear.
Steps to reproduce (doesn't happen always), with Ubuntu constantly running:
1) Switch the audio interfaces off (or disconnect the USB)
2) Switch the audio interfaces back on
3) Go to Ubuntu's audio settings
What happens:
- No external interfaces are listed. I have to run "systemctl --user restart pipewire pipewire-pulse" to get them back.
- They are still seen by e.g. Audacity via ALSA, so this is definitely an issue with the Ubuntu stuff.
What should happen:
- The interfaces should be always re-detected automatically after a power cycle and visible in the audio settings.
