I am using a 2014 era Mac Mini and it is tri booting into linux mint, kde neon, and 24.04 mate. the latter being the only one that doesn't provide good audio out of the box. I read somewhere that they switched the audio server, but we need a patch or something to make it work on this old apple hardware.
