Bug Description

Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Server edition. Xorg crashed during a standard upgrade. Xorg continued to crash upon logging back into the X session. I ended up running "sudo tasksel" and installed Ubuntu Gnome alongside Ubuntu Desktop.
