Bug Description

Same problem as described here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pidgin/+bug/321548

This bug has been marked as "Fix committed", but did not work for me neither under Oneiric, nor Natty!

I have here 2 machines, Oneiric and Natty, both with pidgin, and i am NOT able to send files via ICQ - reproducible!

- start on both machines pidgin
- go online (my wife and i)
- chat a little
- try to drag and drop an pic into pidgin (doesn't work)
- go in pidgin to 'Conversation' - 'send file'
- at the picture
- window with the file transmission opens
- my wife accepts... but nothing happens!

But:
Does not work for piding 1:2.10.3-0ubuntu1.1

Seems a regression in an update, someone should please look after this!

This version is no more supported and is not a 'security' problem; so does not expect a backport

Changed in pidgin (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
