Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

it doesnt hang but it refused to connect at all. im going to wait and see what happens it did this last night and then suddely began to connect so i dont know. i am also using natty 11.04

This works fine for me. What did you enter in the following fields:

Username: (was it your Facebook *username* or your email)
Domain: (should be chat.facebook.com)

?

Obviously there's no need to tell me your personal details, I'm just interested in the format used.

I am able to confirm that this problem exists. My pidgin worked fine until 25 May 2011, since then I get this error. I have updated to 2.7.11 from 2.7.6 with no improvement. I am unable to sign into yahoo with my id's using pidgin.

I installed Ubuntu 11.04 and installed pidgin 2.7.11 from synaptic.
Yahoo accounts are not working.
