Pidgin messages window not close when closing last tab

Binary package hint: pidgin

When I close maximized window with messages, only tab was closed, not window and I need to click close buton again to close this empty "gray" window.

Workaround:
Force Unity to show pidgin icon in tray.
At example, get current list of displayed icons:

$ gsettings get com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist
['JavaEmbeddedFrame', 'Mumble', 'Wine', 'Skype']

and set new list with Pidgin
$ gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['JavaEmbeddedFrame', 'Mumble', 'Wine', 'Skype', 'Pidgin']"

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.
