Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

Ubuntu release: 10.10 Maverick Meerkat

After I do some configuration work in plugins window and close that window, Pidgin would simply disappear (crash, but without error messages) when an icq contact sends me a message. It just closes itself.

Maybe this will help too: I had Empathy installed and configured, but not open, when this problem happened.

Second: the icq user, who was sending me messages to test was using QiP messenger.
