does not show that I am typing for Yahoo Messenger Contacts

I am using a Windows Live ID to run Pidgin, and I have contacts running Yahoo Messenger and I have added their Yahoo accounts. During conversations, I can see when they are "typing a message" but they mention that they do not see when I am typing a message, instead my text suddenly appears.
Is it possible to ensure that they can see when I am typing?

*Note: Contacts who are running Live Messenger can see when I am typing, this is problem only occurs with those running Yahoo Messenger Accounts
