Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

Custom smileys with non-standard (probably too wide - non-square) image-size are shown squeezed
(squared?) and not-animated (although the are animated gifs - and the animation works well when used in a message)
in preview panel, although the same smiley-image in theme (i.e. not "custom" smiley) are previewed fine (in the same
panel, but in upper part)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Do you get the same with Lucid or Maverick? Thanks in advance.
