Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

I can't find debug info. On 6/20/09 I had some fixes to install and a new kernel fix, I remember as I had to reboot. Pidgen fails to connect to anything and I don't see any artifacts in system log. One other similar issue say, "oh, it fixed itself". Nice trick...does anyone know how it fixed itself?

 LANG=en_US.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: pidgin
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-13-generic x86_64

Hello, and thank you for reporting this bug. Could you please tell me what services you are trying to connect to? Like Yahoo! etc. If it is with Yahoo! you are experencing problems with, could you please mark this bug a duplicate of bug number #389322?

Thanks in advance
