Pidgin Internet Messenger DOES NOT WORK!

Binary package hint: pidgin

When Yahoo account is enable in Pidgin the program hangs up and does not connect.
As soon as I disable the Yahoo account Pidgin connects to all the other accounts (AOL, MSN) and behaves
normally.
Something I assume hangs the program -suddenly- when the Yahoo account tries to connect.

Hello...Montel Edwards.
 I reported a Pidgin bug regarding connecting Yahoo and received over 20 emails from you (not one fixed it).
However I did receive ONE email from "ipmawan" who provided a solution that seems to work.

Clombard, I did not send one email to you, you must be subscribed to the
bugs that I have worked on. I do not fix the bugs, I just sort them out. As
there was almost 20 dublicates of this bug, you got 20 you emails from me.
I wasn't trying to email you at all.
