Pidgin will not log in to Yahoo IM

When logging in to Yahoo, Pidgin locks up with a status of "Connecting". It doesn't crash, it just locks up.

i solved the problem
It may be the scs.msg.yahoo.com server's problem. I have change the default server in login advanced frame to cn.scs.msg.yahoo.com which is in china. yahoo can login well and quickly.

Something odd is up with YIM lately and 3rd party IM clients.

I found this works on both Pidgin and Empathy.
