Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

This is automatically reported from first boot after "expert" install, before update has had any chance to run, from xubuntu alternate i386 CD, I've reinstalled from scratch to get a fresh new fdisk. Almost all choices are default, only notable exception I remember now is vga=791 added to the CD boot arguments, "Direct" instead of CUPS somewhere in a printer config and se.archive.ubuntu.com configured for FTP package download. xubuntu jaunty, Dell Inspiron 4000 700MHz 512MB 120GB. If this doesn't go away after package update I'll post a dmesg, otherwise I'll close it.

This is actually Xubuntu, I believe (I might be fooled though, see above):

Works after package update followed by reboot. Sorry for the noise, but when apport was automagically started...
