Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

Microsoft has "banned" some old MSNPx to access to their network. Pidgin 2.5.2 can't connect to MSN anymore.

2.5.3 is also affected.
On the other hand, 2.4.x can connect. Maybe is some MSNP15 bug.

Affects also 2.5.3 from Debian experimental (not ubuntu specific).

A workaround is to install msn-pecan, he WLM protocol it implements connects fine (at least the Debian Sid one, 0.0.16-1).
