Uhm, could you please elaborate, what exactly is not working? Maybe you have an error message to share with us?

This may be the same problem I'm experiencing today. After connecting for some time, it says:

<email address hidden> disconnected
Unable to retrieve MSN Address Book

It was working okay last friday.

I have just upgraded to 1:2.5.3-0ubuntu1 and it still says so.
