Pidgin doesnt have a Webcam Feature that works with yahoo Messenger.

Binary package hint: pidgin

when I tried to view someones webcam...it says that the feature does not work with pidgin. Please create a new pidgin instant messenger that allows webcam access. thanks

Hi thanks for participating in ubuntu. Pidgin as of yet does not support audio or video communications. This would be marked wishlist in launchpad. It is not a bug because audio and video support are not a part of the pidgin feature at present. I have forwarded this upstream to the pidgin bucktracker there is a similar bug there at http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/34 please subscribe to the bug there. That is also where any further discussion of the proposed features should be discussed. Please feel free to report any new issues that you encounter.

This should be marked wishlist I am unable to do this as I am unable to change a bug's importance. I have marked it invalid because it is not a bug. I am unsure if this is appropriate or not.
