Bug Description
Binary package hint: pidgin
Just tried to connect to GG network [after providing correct account information].
Pidgin shows that my status is available for a while, then informs that it disconnected [can't read socket]. While it thiks I'm still available it gives the option to download buddylist, however it doesn't work.
Bug occurs both on 2.5.0 [downloaded with synaptic after enabling backport updates] and 2.4.? [1, as far as i remember - the one to which hardy is able to update with backport updates and pre-released updates turned on]
