Bug Description
Binary package hint: pidgin
Login into the chat service of Yahoo Japan fails. I triple checked account and password, but it just won't let me in. The error is rather obtuse ("Unknown error number 1. Logging into the Yahoo! website may fix this.") Unfortunately, logging into the website does not help.

Now, I get "Your account is locked, please log in to the Yahoo! website. http:// login.yahoo. com/config/ login"
Looks to me as if the US servers are being used for authentication despite the account being clearly marked as a Yahoo Japan account.
