Can only receive messages on Yahoo

Currently using PIDGIN in Hardy Heron Beta (which, by the way, has been awesome so far!). I use it for yahoo messenger, and everything appeared to be working fine. My account loaded, my buddy list, and all the sounds / displays worked. Today a buddy signed on for the first time with pidgin in heron, and i started to chat with the person. Every message from the other user was successfully received and displayed on my machine. When I would type and hit enter, it appeared as if my messages were going through and the conversation was continuing. On the other users screen however, he was receiving nothing. He uses yahoo messenger in XP, and this was never a problem in feisty or with previous versions.
I am also facing the same problem..

So, can't send messages, but can receive them.... any ideas?
I am using the linux ubuntu-8.04 with ubuntu-7.0 the connection setting off after sending the 4 messages but now when i send a single message the connection getting off

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?

This bug was present in Ubuntu 8.04 LTS and also appears in Ubuntu 9.04 NCR. I can receive messages from Yahoo, but I cannot send them.

Actually, this is also true of the MSN protocol for me.

Can anyone please confirm if this bug still occurs in the latest version? If not, then we'll have to tag this closed, "Fix Released".
