Pidgin opens chats in new windows instead of new tabs in existing chat window

Sometimes pidgin opens new chats in new window when clicked from message notification area in unity. That time there is already chat window open so it should have opened a new tab in that window instead. Probably this happens when there is a delay between last chat and new chat message.
