I had skype crash much earlier on in the day but it seemed to have recovered. I am using both Skype and Google Hangouts on a different machine with the same accounts linked into Pidgin. Let me know if there is any other data I can provide that might be useful.

No Skype crash today just a Pidgin one. Other suggested bugs were Bugs #159488, #249096 and #556430.

This seems to happen quite repeatedly. I'll try switching from the Skype to Skype (D-Bus) within Pidgin to see if that changes things much.

D-Bus has one problem and if I switch back I just see this one instead. I guess I will have to drop Skype support from Pidgin on my system as it seems to have too many problems.
