Bug Description

to reproduce:

Start pidgin with it's associated skype. (better to start from terminal to see errors)
Select Accounts -> Skype -> Check for plugin update

What happens:
$ pidgin
Segmentation fault

Have you tried installing the newest deb from this website: http://eion.robbmob.com/ and see if it solves it?

I have a similiar issue: When I start pidgin with pidgin-skype enabled and skype is not running yet, pidgin starts skype and then crashes after some seconds. When I restart everything works fine now that Skype is set up.
