Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin-sipe

My contacts in Microsoft communicator 2007 have been organised into departments. When I connect using either Pidgin or Empathy with pidgin-sipe in Lucid, my contacts which have been organised into groups also appear in the "other" group causing my contacts to be displayed twice. To clarify the contacts are not duplicated in the "other" group when using the official MS Communicator 2007 client.

What info can I supply to help diagnose this issue? I'm using the latest version 1.8.0-1 in Ubuntu Lucid.
