Bug Description
Binary package hint: pidgin-otr
When trying to insert an image into a pidgin conversation (with Direct IM), the sender sees everything fine, but the receiver just sees a broken image icon. This only happens over an encrypted channel, if end the session, insert image works.
The only information I could find searching for this was:

So I was surprised there wasn't a bug report. It's not a high priority bug, but it would be nice to have it fixed.
