no bubble notifications while totem is running

Binary package hint: pidgin-libnotify

This problem occurs for both Pidgin and Empathy. Whenever they are on, bubble notifications appear just fine. But when totem is open and playing something, no bubble notifications appear at all.

Running Lucid and newest pidgin-libnotify.

*And I can understand if it shouldn't show any notifications while totem is full-screen, but this is which totem is in a normal window.

Also, it might be possible that I was wrong by marking just pidgin-libnotify. I thought it was the closest one that could be the problem, but I just realized that even my email bubble notifications from Evolution don't appear either when totem is running, so it might actually be the Notifications daemon.
