Bug Description
Binary package hint: indicator-messages
When someone with an apostrophe in their name sends me a message via pidgin, the apostrophe in their name shows up as ' rather than displaying an actual apostrophe. This does not occur if the apostrophe is in the message. Still waiting to see if this happens with evolution as well, never used evolution before so syncing my GMail is like torture.

I think this would better be filed against pidgin-libnotify. As far as I know there's already a patch in the works for pidgin-libnotify to fix this very issue.
