Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidentd

What happens:
I get the following error message in my logs:
s_open("/var/run/identd/identd.pid", O_WRONLY): No such file or directory
The directory /var/run/identd does not exist.
If I create the directory and make sure it is owned by the identd user/group, then the error goes away until I reboot (at which point, the run directory seems to be cleaned up).

What I expected:
  No error messages.

Suggestions:
If you change the pid path to something like /var/run/pidentd.pid, then this should probably work. Alternatively, an init script will have to create the directory or pidentd will have to create the directory.

Ciao!
