Bug Description
Binary package hint: pida
I installed pida 0.5.1-5 from Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid) repository using synaptic.
pida:
Installed: 0.5.1-5
Candidate: 0.5.1-5
Version table:
*** 0.5.1-5 0
500 http://
100 /var/lib/
it fails to launch, other users have reported this behavior as well (please see http://
Upon invocation from the application menu, pida presents dialog window where the user chooses vim or emacs as the embedded editor.
I chose emacs.
Pida greeting stating that pida is launching and that it loves me appeared
an xemacs window appeared.
The pida greeting hangs and a force quit was required to make it go away.
After closing xemacs I then invoked pida from terminal so that I could catch the output.
here it is:
** (pida:2790): WARNING **: expected enumeration type MooPanePosition, but got GtkPositionType instead
^CTraceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/pida", line 29, in <module>

Thank you kind sir and madams.
