Bug Description
Binary package hint: picard
Hi,
i keep getting the following error message when I try to use picard.
"Picard crashes with: [mp3 @ 0xaf22d6e0]ID3v2.4 tag skipped, cannot handle unsynchronization Segmentation fault"
I'm using the latest Version of Picard with Jaunty with Python 2.6.2.
How can I identify the mp3 that produces the crash?
Thanks!

By latest version you mean the version in Jaunty or 0.12?
Please start Picard with the --debug switch, the debug output might help identifying the file which is causing this. If you are using Picard 0.12 this is most probably a problem with ffmpeg, not Picard itself. In this case updating ffmpeg could help, but this might be difficult if you have other packages installed which rely on ffmpeg.
