Bug Description

I had apache and mysql installed:
sudo apt-get install apache2
sudo apt-get install mysql-server mysql-client

After that, I installed phpmyadmin:
sudo apt-get install phpmyadmin.

When prompted to choose which web server to configure, I chose apache2, and when prompted whether to automatically configure the database, I chose yes.

However, after the installation, phpmyadmin was not accessible at http://localhost/phpmyadmin
(the default webpage at localhost/ worked fine)

I had to manually edit /etc/apache2/apache2.conf and add the "Include /etc/phpmyadmin/apache2.conf" line.
That should be done automatically during package installation.
Or otherwise, a message should be issued after installation to instruct the user to do that.

Oh my god, this is known since 2010:
