Bug Description

Binary package hint: php5-gd

I have installed php5, php5-gd, and now my script with imagefilter() function got this error:
Fatal error</b>: Call to undefined function imagefilter()

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

As noted on the documentation page (http://php.net/manual/en/function.imagefilter.php), this function is only available if PHP is compiled with the bundled version of the GD library. This is not the case in Ubuntu, as php5 is compiled against the system gd library.
