Ubuntu LTS 18.04.1 up to date to latest @ 18/1/2019
Photoprint launches an empty icon clone while the real icon is not active
clicking the real icon reproduces this every time on launching the program
tested both on Xorg and Wayland

Reproduced as follows on 18.04.1 / Gnome-Shell:
apt-get install photoprint
click on (top left) "show applications" icon and search for "photoprint".
right-click icon, add to favorites.
click icon on panel to start the application.
a separate "broken" icon now shows on the panel for the running application.
