Bug Description

SRU
-----

[Impact]
Phonon applications that use the AbstractMediaStream feature of Phonon fail to produce output as the phonon gstreamer implementation of this feature is not working correctly in 4.6.0. This affects all KDE applications with sound output as Phonon has an internal fallback mechanism that would use an AbstractMediaStream when a URL cannot be played by the backend directly (which is the case for most KIO resources).

[Test Case]
* Install tomahawk from https://launchpad.net/~tomahawk/+archive/ppa
* Configure a jabber account and get a friend with tomahawk available
* Try to stream from their collection
* Observe that no output is generated at all.

[Regression Potential]
* As the feature was completely broken there is no potential for regression.

------

Due to internal changes in 4.6.0 the streamreader implemenation is broken, such that streaming from any abstractmediastream does not produce any output.

Successfully tested with self-compiled Phonon & Phonon-GStreamer: HTTP and remote Tomahawk sources work. Will try the packages now.
