package pdnsd 1.2.8-par-2.2 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

dpkg reports an error - however it looks like pdnsd is installed correctly. After a manual stop and start of the deamon, it looks to be working - tested with dig. It might have been working without the manual stop/start.
