package pdns-recursor 3.5.3-1 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

I recently upgraded from kubuntu 12.04 LTS to 14.04 LTS and now today performed - aptitude install -f , which seemed to install several packages that did not complete during the distro upgrade (at least that is how I understand it). At the end of this procedure I got this error regarding pdns-recursor.
