Bug Description

After mounting a network partition using the cifs the shortcut on the desktop does not appear in lubuntu 18.04.1! Same configs work in Lubuntu 16.04.

# cifs command
sudo mount -t cifs //20.20.0.1/public Public/ -o username=$USER,rw,dir_mode=0755,file_mode=0755,iocharset=utf8,nounix,nodev,nobrl,nosuid

cat /proc/mounts
//20.20.0.1/publico /home/lubuntu/Público cifs rw,relatime,vers=2.0,cache=strict,username=ana.lucia,domain=,uid=0,noforceuid,gid=0,noforcegid,addr=20.20.0.1,file_mode=0755,dir_mode=0755,soft,nounix,serverino,mapposix,rsize=65536,wsize=65536,echo_interval=60,actimeo=1 0 0

I use pam_mount

Hi, I've never seen the CIFS partition in the desktop, in pcmanfm neither I've always (in 16.04 too) created a favorite to have "quick access".
However, I alwasy mounted with /etc/fstab with this:

//mollery/hmoller /mnt/mollery/hmoller cifs credentials=/home/hmoller/.smbcredentials,iocharset=utf8,gid=1000,uid=1000,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,vers=1.0 0 0

Hi, in Desktop Preferences > Desktop Icons have "Show connected volumes on the desktop" you see left panel in pcmanfm doesn't apppers cifs volumes. Still believe it to be a regression bug.
