Selection area doesn't update correctly when interruped with middle or right click

Steps to reproduce:
1) Start selecting files on your desktop: (left mouse button click, move, but DON'T release mouse button)
2) Make a rightclick while still holding left mouse button
3) now click again with the left mouse button anywhere
4) you are going to see that selection area did not disappear
