Lubuntu live kinetic test on

I can confirm Leó's report (on LIVE media)... on switching wallpaper the icon appears; in fact the file `~/Desktop/lubuntu-manual.desktop` disappears when viewing the ~/Desktop directory (in terminal)

also tried logout, login - it doesn't reappear.

On a live system though; this behavior isn't a huge issue.. I'll perform an install & re-test using an installed system (where it's more significant in my opinion) which Leó appears to have reported on.

Installed a system on hp dc7700; and post-install this issue was confirmed on the installed system too.

File in ~/Desktop disappeared on changing wallpaper; but not my usual checks of changing monitor.positions to match my screens.

On installed system, logout & login had same results as LIVE system, ie. manual link is still gone.

Can't reproduce on Mantic and I assume it doesn't apply to Jammy.
