Bug Description

When running lspci -vs ****:**:**.* the result does not include the kernel modules field.

These seems to have been encountered and patched in fedora:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1087862

"The pciutils package is built without LIBKMOD=yes set in the Makefile.
Because of this lspci is not reporting kernel modules compatible with the device."

This bug is tagged needs-packaging which identifies it as a request for a new package in Ubuntu. As a part of the managing needs-packaging bug reports specification, https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/Specs/NeedsPackagingBugs, all needs-packaging bug reports have Wishlist importance. Subsequently, I'm setting this bug's status to Wishlist.

@Brian, Sorry I may have tagged this wrong then.
I thought thought this would be the appropriate tag for a bug in a package that would need to be fixed.
May I ask what a more suitable tag would be?
I put this in ask Ubuntu originally to see was it actually a bug and I was told to just file it here as it seemed to be the case.

It's not needs-packaging, indeed, since it's not requesting an entire new package; doesn't need any particular tag.

This appears to have been fixed in xenial:

pciutils (1:3.3.1-1.1) unstable; urgency=medium

  * Non-maintainer upload.
  * Enable libkmod support on linux architectures (Closes: #807043)
  * Enable udev hwdb support on linux architectures
