Bug Description

It's very unintuitive that a compression program deletes its input file. Afaik `bzip2` and `pbzip2` are the only ones around. It contradicts the scheme of leaving everything as easy as possible for intuitive usage and giving advanced users the possibility to eventually do things all in one step (which would be not deliberately destroying data, but giving an option to remove files after compression).
