Bug Description

Binary package hint: pbnj

scanpbnj seems broken from the get-go on lucid. It works for the root user, but not a normal user.

mfoster@sea-noc-002:~$ scanpbnj
id: usersmfoster: No such user
Can't exec "error": No such file or directory at (eval 36) line 62.
Can't exec error: No such file or directory

mfoster@sea-noc-002:~$ scanpbnj -h
id: usersmfoster: No such user
Can't exec "error": No such file or directory at (eval 36) line 62.
Can't exec error: No such file or directory
mfoster@sea-noc-002:~$ id
uid=11000(mfoster) gid=11000(ldappers) groups=11000(ldappers),11001(bp-ops),11003(bp)
mfoster@sea-noc-002:~$ ls .pbnj*
ls: cannot access .pbnj*: No such file or directory

Noting that, while the man page for scanpbnj DOES indicate it needs root privileges to run, the error persists even with this simple incantation.
mfoster@sea-noc-002:~$ sudo scanpbnj -v
