Bug Description
Binary package hint: pbnj
scanpbnj seems broken from the get-go on lucid. It works for the root user, but not a normal user.

Noting that, while the man page for scanpbnj DOES indicate it needs root privileges to run, the error persists even with this simple incantation. sea-noc- 002:~$ sudo scanpbnj -v
