Bug Description
Binary package hint: pavucontrol
This is one of the many problems I am having with sound
after upgrading on a desktop from Gutsy to Hardy. None
of the previous upgrades from dapper to feisty to gutsy
resulted in such a major problem on this computer --
Dell workstation Precision 220, standard soundcard.
Soundcard was not detected, microphone was not
detected and pulseaudio device manager crashes
as you can see from the automatic report.
